Commemorative Medal
Neil Armstrong Commemorative Medal Engraving
That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind - Neil Armstrong

There so much media recently regarding the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing thought I'd show this today, Neil Armstrong himself gave me this commemorative medal in 2010. (The engraving is on the edge). I had a 3-day exhibition in Los Angeles, and the hotel next to the gallery was holding their annual NASA convention.

I'm not claiming it's Neil Armstrong's Commemorative Medal the President gave him. I reckon he had a box of these copies and he gave them away to people who pestered him, just to get rid of them. Anyway, it must have worked - I pestered him, and he got rid of me! After all the pestering I completed the Neil Armstrong Commemorative Medal Engraving in several weeks, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Seeing a moment in the life of John Armstrong and You. For him at that time on the moon, that was his job. Exciting, yes, but also everything he'd trained for. Your talent and those words engraved on the side of that medal probably meant the world to him. That was a moment he'd never forget. And, neither would you. What a wonderful moment that was for both of you, and you shared it with all of us.
